This is one of the worst candles I've ever smelled. Maybe I just got a bad one, but this smelled like pee, pure and simple -- it was all sweet salt and no caramel. I would light it, leave the room, walk back in, and I thought my cat had peed somewhere. If they had named it "Essence 'La Pee" they would have been right on the money. I love this brand of candle, don't get me wrong, but I'll never be buying this scent again!

This is my 2nd candle from this company. The scents are wonderful and long lasting! I will continue to purchase their candles.

I love the strong scent but it's not overwhelming. I love how the smell lingers in the room and fills the hallways with the smell of this candle. Definitely in love.

How I wish all my 'blind' purchases were this successful! The candles arrived beautifully boxed and securely packaged. Just as pictures. My first, up close, whiff threw me back, but I took a chance and I'm very glad I did. The candles have a pleasant, subtle, fragrance with a clean, even burn.

It makes a great gift. The container is lovely and the packaging is high end. It smells good too.

I do wish they were bigger, but other than that I would definitely buy these again, and will try the large one next time :)

These arrived in the most beautiful boxes, very high end product. The scent is amazing. I tried these because traditional scented candles give me a headache (I guess its the chemicals). These have a clean, gentle burn to them, not a knock-you-over-the-head kind of fragrance.

I notice as I get older I enjoy more of a clean, citrus, or aromatherapy based scents. These candles check the boxes!! And the packaging? I feel like I’m opening gift every time.

The candles were fine and I am super pleased with them. I don't know how long they last so I couldn't rate longevity 5 stars but everything else got a 5 star rating. Thank you for a really nice product!

The Salt & Caranel scent was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed everything about the design of the candle from the amber glass, natural scent and even the logo. I really enjoyed the scent.

The fragrance is nicer than I thought. We have a open floor plan & I think it’s just too large for this candle. Smells nice in a smaller room.

For a candle it did its job, besides the scent was very strong. The candle did burn for a long time too!

God, really, it's a candle, what are people doing with all the shapes and sizes. I want scent and I want it to last. This is everything that Home Lights does sooooo well with their classic jar candle.

The strength of the scent of this candle is remarkable - one of the very strongest candle that I own and I have like and army of them, really :)

Nice simple scent

This is not a large candle, and therefore, will not fill a large room with its scent. However, its unique smell is pleasant and relaxing. The candle has three layers, each with a unique combination of scents. This makes me excited to continue burning it to figure out what comes next. The top layer on this Salt & Caramel variety has a great pineapple overtone, and I can start to smell the vanilla coming out as I get further down. I can easily recommend this unique candle.

This candle has potential to be the best in it's class if the scent were stronger. I use my candles as a deodorizer, so it didn't cut it for me. The glass jar, candle quality, clean burn & hours exceeded my expectations.

Great Gift! Big & Beautiful! Smells So Good!

I've been using this candle regularly for about a week and a half now. It burns very evenly and since it is a soy candle it is a clean burn. I love candles with a clean and fresh scent and this candle has both of these qualities.

I see a lot of people asking, the candle arrived inside a box of its own (within the regular amazon delivery box), wrapped in thick packaging paper so unless some one was literally beating your box with a bat the candle wont break, I live in south Florida and the candle was not melted when arrived.

It's all in the NOSE OF THE BEHOLDER. lol Who knows? You might actually smell the jasmine or cashmere... or something else completely different. Hopefully pleasing to your olfactory senses. But it's a win all the same and functions perfectly in the loo. The fragrance is perfect without being too heady.

I bought this item as a gift, so I don't know how they smell. The recipient was very happy when she opened this gift. Seems to be a good value. The candles came in an attractive gift box.

Sea salt sage doesn’t smell like sage - burnt nor unburnt. It smells more like laundry detergent. My mom really likes it, so it’s still a pleasant smell, just not sage.
